JAKARTA: PT Supreme Cable Manufacturing Corporation Tbk (Sucaco), a manufacturer of cables in Indonesia, allocated IDR20 billion to fund its capital expenditure this year, Kontan reported, citing Finance Director Nicodemus M. Trisnadi.
The company plans to use IDR1 billion of its budget to expand its production capacity. The remaining capital expenditure will disburse to maintain its existing machinery.
Supreme Cable expected its revenue would reach IDR2.6 trillion or 18% increase compared than last year. Meanwhile, the net profit is estimated to rise 20% to IDR70 billion.
The company is now in a bidding process from a state-owned electricity and telecommunication companies.
About 5% of its total revenue last year was contributed from PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara's project, while the remaining was derived from export and domestic market. (wiw)
